Medication Drop Box

City has prescription drug drop box available every weekday.

The medication drop box is in the lobby area of the Fort Morgan Police Department. The police station is at 901 E. Beaver Ave in Fort Morgan and the lobby is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to clean out their medicine cabinets and dispose of expired or unused prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs.  Most homes have a supply of unwanted drugs that when left unchecked can be misused or abused by unauthorized individuals. 

Before dropping off drugs, citizens are asked to mark out any personal information on bottles or containers, or empty the unneeded medications into a Ziploc bag for disposal.
