City of Fort Morgan Information
Fort Morgan's municipal election for Mayor and City Council seats takes place in November of odd-numbered years.
The municipal election for 2021 had three available seats. Lyn Deal was deemed elected for her first term as Mayor, beating out Kevin "Doc" Lindell and Christine Castoe. Incumbent Councilmember Douglas Schossow, representing Ward 1 was deemed elected. Representing Ward 2 are R. Jon Kaper, with the most votes received and William Garcia, with the second most votes, both over Tabitha Fainter. James Parks was deemed elected, representing Ward 3, beating out Jim Avery, Andrew Stieb and Houefa Diane Akpamoli.
In addition to the election of municipal candidates, other ballot issues may be presented to the voters of Fort Morgan during regular or special municipal elections.
