Census 2010

Census 2010 Information

Once every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau takes a count of everyone residing in the United States and 2010 was the year of the most recent census.

According to our representatives from the U.S. Census Bureau, each additional person counted adds $880 per year to Federal funding in our community. Missing just 500 people in the Census count would result in a loss of $4.4 million over the 10-year Census period.

A local Complete Count Committee helped the U.S. Census Bureau in completing the 2010 Census.
