Share History of Personal Artifacts at Museum Program

The Fort Morgan Museum will host a program where patrons can share the unique histories behind their personal mementoes in an adult show and tell format.

The program will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, in the museum upper gallery. All adults are welcome and no registration is needed.

Children's Library to Remain Closed

The Children’s Library downstairs in the Fort Morgan Library & Museum building will continue to be closed for an undetermined amount of time while repairs and reconstruction are being done.

The lower floor of the library portion of the building was heavily damaged by water in early December when an outdoor water source was turned on and left on overnight. The water seeped under the doors of the Children’s Library and flooded the area, so rem...

Exhibit Offers Rare Glimpse of Paris Catacombs

A new exhibition opening soon at the Fort Morgan Museum offers a rare glimpse of the catacombs that lie beneath Paris.

“Life Below: Paris,” a photographic exhibit by local photographer Jon A. Yamamoto, will open in the museum’s lower gallery on Saturday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m.  The exhibit will run through June 25.
