The City of Fort Morgan Community Swimming Pool will open for the season Thursday, June 1, at 1 p.m. A season kickoff party will start things off from 1 to 3 p.m. with music, games, treats and more!
The pool will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with Family Fun Evening Swim on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Hours are 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The City of Fort Morgan Water Department moved to the next phase of its 2017 main line replacement projects on Tuesday, April 25, and traffic disruptions can be expected as a result of the excavation and construction work.
This phase will require street closures in the 1500 block of East Ninth Avenue followed by the 900 and 1000 blocks of Vickie Street. The intersection of Ninth and Vickie is also expected to be completely closed all day Wednesday, April 26.

The Fort Morgan Recreation Department has begun registration for a free casino trip to Black Hawk on July 18 for adults age 21 and up.
The bus will depart from the Senior Center at 8:30 a.m. and leave Black Hawk for the return trip at 3:30 p.m., arriving back in Fort Morgan about 5:30 p.m. Participants should arrive for check-in 30 minutes before departure time.

Barlow Road is fully closed to all traffic just south of US Highway 34 for the next several weeks as work resumes on the rebuilding of the intersection of these two major roads.
The full closure began April 17 and is expected to continue for several weeks, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation, which is heading up the construction project performed by McAtee Construction Company.
