Water Treatment Plant


The City began operating a Water Treatment Facility for the first time when the Colorado-Big Thompson (C-BT) project became operational. The plant is a conventional Water Treatment Facility and is staffed by a total of six personnel.

The Treatment Plant staff is responsible for treating an average of 4.2 million gallons of water per day throughout the year and for ensuring that the water quality meets all applicable standards of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
