Probation services are provided through Rocky Mountain Offender Management Systems (RMOMS) in Fort Morgan Colorado. If a defendant is sentenced to probation with RMOMS he or she will be required to meet with RMOMS pursuant to arrangements made with RMOMS. All supervised probation fees will be due and owing directly to RMOMS.
In addition to imposing fines and costs, the judge may require a defendant's appearance at classes, counseling or evaluations, or community service as a condition of probation. The probation officer provides clients with referrals to appropriate agencies and monitors attendance and compliance with the terms and conditions of probation imposed by Court orders.
Failure to comply with probation terms and conditions may result in the revocation of probation and the imposition of sentence, including the possibility of a jail sentence. Any questions about what the judge has ordered and what the probation officer's expectations are should be clarified before leaving the Probation office.
Rocky Mountain Offender Management Systmens handles all of the supervised probation cases for the Fort Morgan Municipal Court. To get information on either County Court or District Court cases, contact the 13th Judicial District Probation Department at (970) 542-3465.
